Description:
  

An original oil painting from the Garibaldi Region near Whistler, BC that features clean lines and bright colours of blue and yellow. This is also one of the few paintings exhibited by Donald at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Attached to the back of this painting is a letter from the Curator of the Vancouver Art Gallery, J A Morris dated October 9, 1948 requesting the painting be displayed in the prestigious Woodwards Store window on Georgia St..in downtown Vancouver.

Mt. Garibaldi is also near the Whistler / Blackcomb Resort and ski areas - where some olympic events from the Vancouver Whistler 2010 Winter Olympic Games will be held.
