This print is on display in Iqaluit at the Frobisher Inn. Donald stayed at the Frobisher Inn in 1981 on his trip to Baffin Island to paint this beautiful series of paintings depicting Canada's Far North.

Donald wrote the following on the back of this stunning Baffin Island painting:
"View from Salmon River, looking across to Bylot Island northward.

Sketched 23 July, 1981, painted 36" X 48" during 1982 and 1985.

The ice flows move around, driven by the tidal conditions in Baffin Bay to the East (rightward). The icebergs often move around more conservatively, often grounded on shallows."
