About
the Prints:
The prints are produced using a revolutionary new digital
process that prints with amazing accuracy and consistency
on canvas (all of the prints are printed on canvas). We have
decided to print on canvas because it gives the print more
depth and richness in detail emulating the original. In addition,
because conventional framing methods can be employed, there
is no need for protective glass fronts, which often create
unwanted shadow and reflection images. Thus, the prints may
be viewed as if an original, enhancing the viewer's experience.
As well, all the prints are sealed with a protective coating
for increased protection.
The Process, Warranty and Care, Limited Editions
Giclee (pronounced Jeeclay) prints utilize special new archival
high quality inks. No special care is required to maintain
D.M. Flather Giclee prints. As with all works of art, do not
hang or expose to direct sunlight and avoid damp or humid
environments. Limited Edition Giclee prints of D.M. Flather
will be offered in up to 3 sizes and the run will be limited
to 200 prints per size (some sizes may be limited to 50 prints,
75 prints, 100 prints or in some cases 300 prints). Some editions
may have more prints offerred, and will be noted on the detail
pages. |
