Description:

  

An oil painting from the Garibaldi Region near Whistler, BC that features log booms being towed into the lumber port of Squamish. The vantage point for this painting is from the far side of Howe Sound - which is quite remote and would have been difficult for Donald to get to.

Mt. Garibaldi is also near the Whistler / Blackcomb Resort and ski areas - where some Olympic events from the Vancouver Whistler 2010 Winter Olympic Games were held.
